Speaker: Andrew Futter

Dr. Andrew Futter is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in International Politics at the University of Leicester, UK, and currently a Visiting Scholar at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies at MIIS.

He is the author of three books:

  • Ballistic Missile Defence and US National Security Policy (2013)
  • The Politics of Nuclear Weapons (2015)
  • Reassessing the Revolution in Military Affairs (2015)

He has written widely on nuclear strategy, proliferation, missile defence and deterrence. He is currently working on a UK Government funded Economic & Social Research Council Future Research Leader’s project looking into the impact of cyber on nuclear weapons.
