Dr. Brad Roberts, director of the Center for Global Security Research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). Prior to LLNL, he was a consulting professor and William Perry Fellow with the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University, where he authored a book entitled The Case for U.S. Nuclear Weapons in the 21st Century. During the first Obama administration, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear and Missile Defense Policy, and in that capacity was responsible for helping to lead the administration’s Nuclear Policy Review and Ballistic Missile Defense Review.
